Tekara is a contemporary art collective formed in Austin, Texas by local artists Iain Neberman and Eric Welch.

About the artists

Iain Neberman is a contemporary fine artist based in Austin, TX and is best known for his visionary oil and gouache paintings. He has been featured in The Austin American Statesman, Austin City Hall and many galleries in the Austin area. Iain is also known in the Austin art scene for his "Smiling Bread" street art with the three dots on its forehead. His work is greatly influenced by his UFO and entity encounters in dreams.

Eric Welch is a visionary artist from Austin, Texas who specializes in oil painting and drawing the phantasmagoria from inner space. His work is influenced by the beauty of the Texas hill country, the ineffable mystery surrounding the nature of consciousness, the alien other that resides in our dreams and mystical experiences, transcendental meditation and the perennial philosophy, altered states of awareness, and growing up in the Austin film and music scenes.
